Peyton is 4 months old today! I could cryyyy! I see why people have multiple children because it goes SO fast lol You never believe anyone when they say once you have kids time flies. It truly does. She gets bigger, stronger, and smarter every single day. It sounds crazy but she really transforms before our eyes. My heart has never been so full.
Those few bumps in the road we had in the beginning have started to smooth out a little bit more! The only thing we are still working with is the food allergy issue. Even with not eating dairy, soy, wheat, and nuts… things have improved slightly… which is a little discouraging. She’s still doing wonderfully but just having some wonky poops once in a while. We did end up getting a second opinion from a highly recommended GI. He spent almost an hour with us going over everything about Peyton’s life. I love when doctors take their time to get to know her and truly try to help and do whatever is in her best interests. Fyi, that is still breastfeeding as of right now. Her report said she has gained a “robust” amount of weight since her last weight check (lmao) and her tone was “excellent”.
Peyton’s personality is slowly starting to come out. She is unsure around people she doesn’t see very much but once she warms up, she is super sweet and smiley! She is also starting to laugh now! It is music to my ears 🙂 She is in LOVE with her daddy. I have a feeling she will be a daddy’s girl! BOO 😛 She loves to make noises and she entertains herself. When I say “helloooo”, she tries to say it back! Recently, she started trying to blow raspberries lol We also started a new bedtime routine that I think is helping a lot! The 4 B’s. Bath, book, boob, bed. lmao Having routines is the BEST thing you can do for kids. It worked really well for my little ones when I worked at the Goddard School and I plan on doing the same with Peyton 🙂 She is starting to learn that after we do the 4 B’s that it is time to go down for the night.
“I love my daddy!”
