25 week update

Didn’t I just write my 24 week blog? O_o This week flew by. Some weeks fly and some weeks drag… depending on how I’m feeling. I’ve been feeling tired again lately. I feel so lazy I just don’t want to do anything. I’ve had to step it up a little bit more though because Aaron has been sick 😦 I’ve been doing my best to keep my distance so I don’t get sick but it’s hard. Thankfully he is on his way to feeling better just in time for our babymoon! I’m so excited to get away with him and just tune out the stress. Going on little weekend getaways is something we really enjoy doing together. We have to do one more before baby Peyton arrives! Then when she gets a little older we can bring her with us 🙂

Symptoms this week have been mostly fatigue and dizziness here and there. I’ve had a little break from the back pain lately so that has been nice. I’ve also been getting some pain near my sternum? It happens mostly in the morning so I’m guessing it’s from pressure from sleeping on my side. My hips THROB at night too. They are definitely starting to widen. I can tell just by looking in the mirror. My body looks so different to me now but I have honestly never felt more comfortable and content with my body than I have felt during pregnancy (even though those changes hurt lol).

This week we picked out some carpet for the nursery! Currently, there is some ugly tile in there and I can’t wait to see it DISAPPEAR. I’m so excited for it to be installed so I can really start working on her room. It makes everything seem more real but at the same time it’s still so hard to believe that we will have a daughter in just a couple of short months.

Peyton is about 14 inches tall and a little over 1.5 pounds. She is able to tell which way is up or down and will be using this new found skill to turn head down in the birth position. I don’t think she has done that yet but hopefully she will soon! She has been moving and squirming all around but still hanging out pretty low. So…. still getting those oh so pleasant kicks down there. Thanks Peyton 🙂
